A more compact way to display lists

Some list components now include a Compact view option. The compact list view uses reduced padding between list items, and allows for a denser, more space-efficient way of displaying content type lists.

You now have the ability to display content in List Components in a more compact way.

When adding a List Component (Class, Event, News, Page, Person, Publication, and Resource) to your page you can select Compact from the Display Style drop-down menu (under the list component Settings). This generates a compressed display of items that take less vertical real estate.

By default, these are the fields that are displayed for each content type when selecting the Compact display style:

  • News: Title and Publication Date
  • Events: Title, Event Start Date & Time
  • Person: Full Name and first Professional Title
  • Class: Title only
  • Page: Title only
  • Resource: Title only
  • Publications: Title only

Here are some examples of how each of these components look using the Compact list view.
