Known issues on the platform
The following is a list of issues that the Harvard Web Publishing team is aware of and working toward addressing in an upcoming platform release. The issues are not listed in any particular order.
We will regularly update the Known issues list as new issues arise and move resolved issues to the Recently resolved issues list at the bottom of this page.

Current known issues

Login | If you cannot log in to edit your site with HarvardKey, the email on your Drupal account may not match your HarvardKey email. You can ask another Site Administrator on your site to update your Drupal user account email (see Managing users), or contact ithelp@harvard.edu for help. |
Button-style cards | Button style cards components may display layout inconsistencies at certain tablet-sized screen widths. |
Listing page | Filters are not respected when searching within results on listing pages. |
Listing page | Filter counts for pre-filtered listing pages may be inaccurate because they show total tag usage across the site rather than the number of items in the current filtered view. |
List components | Standard pager not working correctly in some context. Use the "Show more" pager instead, which is the preferred option. |
Embeds | Wrapping video / embedded media causes embed to fail to render. |
Taxonomy | Ampersand showing up as code for taxonomy page titles |
Vertical cards | The card heading level option in the vertical cards component settings is broken. |
Tabs component | Tabs components on Resource pages hide the content in the first tab upon first page load. |

Site logo | Header site logo image alt text not rendering at certain screen sizes when field left blank. | |
Hero | Page edit preview for hero component appears oversized and overflows. | |

Search | Site search not functioning properly on Android mobile devices in certain browsers. | |
Pages | Site administrators are temporarily unable to delete pages, while HWP is researching how to prevent accidental deletion of critical pages. | |
Files | File attachments on pages not rendering for public site viewers. As a workaround, use the resource content type instead of file attachments to link to files. | |
Images | Cropping aspect ratios showing up in incorrect context in hero component | |
Site visibility | Remove false alert that tells site administrators to clear the site's cache when changing site visibility | |
Events | Issues with multi-day and recurring events start and end times display | |
Design | Extra spacing when there is no heading in a call to action component | |
Nested components | Duplicating then editing components with nested components before saving causes error on the page edit screen. | |
CTA links | Editing or deleting call-to-action links on the CTA components throws error on a subset of sites. | |
Listing page | When viewing listing pages in the grid view, the pager stops before showing the full list of content | |
Publications | Publications export feature not working | |
Admin interface | Unable to select page using autocomplete if more than 10 matches | |
People | Sorting for people lists is not correct if people have lowercase or accented characters | |
Accessibility | Images added with WYSIWYG text editor cannot be marked as decorative | |

Publications | No way to edit the crop of a publication image | |
