Managing site visibility settings
Note that Site Administrators can edit site visibility settings.
- Navigate to Site Settings > Site Visibility.
- Choose the site access and visibility level from the following options:
- Public on the web: Anyone on the internet can view your site. Your site will show in search results. No sign-in required.
- Site members only: This setting can be useful during site creation. Your site will not be indexed by search engines.
- Anyone with the link: Anyone who has the URL to your site can view your site. Your site will not be indexed by search engines.
- Harvard Community: Only the Harvard Community can access your site. Sign-in via HarvardKey required. Note that this setting provides access to users who fall into the Yellow Tier generic filter as defined by IAM.
- Groups within the Harvard Community: Only select groups at Harvard can view your site. Sign-in via HarvardKey required.
- Once you have selected the site access and visibility level, click Save Configuration to save your changes.
