How to apply taxonomy terms to your content

Step 1: Review available taxonomy vocabularies

Expand the Taxonomy section in the content edit view to see the vocabularies and terms available for the current content type. Select the taxonomy terms that apply to your content.
  1. Create content for your content type. Then use the right sidebar to review available taxonomy vocabularies for that content. See Taxonomy Best Practices and Managing taxonomies for guidance on creating and using taxonomies.

Step 2: Select relevant terms

  1. Expand the Taxonomy section in the right sidebar of the content edit view.
  2. Select the terms you would like to apply to the content from the dropdown menus. Menu items with checkboxes allow for selection of multiple terms. See Managing taxonomies for guidance on adding new taxonomy terms.
  3. Choose Save to apply the taxonomy terms to the content.
