What layout region should I use for components?
The Page content type has three layout regions that support components:
- Top Region: The Top Region is for banners, like a Hero component or 50/50 Card, that establish the tone and topic of the page.
- Main Region: Components added to the Additional Content area of the Main Region augment and expand on the main narrative, for example, with pull quotes, data tables, or image mosaics.
- Bottom Region: The Bottom Region spans the width of the browser window and provides a space for supplementary content, such as a list of related content.
Other content types have a Main Region with an Additional Content area and, in some cases, a Bottom Region.
Site Administrators can add components to a Global Content region right above the Site Footer. Components added to this section display across the content type. For example, the News content type might have a News List that appears at the bottom of all News pages.
