## How to log in to your site

### Step 1: Locate the login link

1. Navigate to a page on your HarvardSites Drupal website.
2. Locate the **Admin login** link in the page footer at the bottom of the page. We recommend connecting to the Harvard VPN before logging in to your site (see [Getting Started with VPN](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_article&sys_id=f90a73f6dba21c5c60c0d9fcd39619ea) for instructions).

Locate and select the **Admin login** in the page footer to log in to HarvardSites Drupal.### Step 2: Log in with HarvardKey

1. Select the **Log in with HarvardKey** button in the **HarvardKey Log In** section.
    1. If you are redirected to the **HarvardKey Sign In** screen, enter your HarvardKey information and select **Sign In** (see [Getting Started with HarvardKey](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_article&sys_id=248b8a4c1b271018351ceb9bbc4bcb7b)).

Select the **Log in with HarvardKey button** to sign in using your HarvardKey information.2. Once you have signed in, you will see a notification that you are successfully logged in.

After logging in, look for the notification that “you have been logged in.”Please note that logging in with HarvardKey is the **only** way to access and edit your site. If you need to provide access to an external vendor, you need to set them up with a [Sponsored Role](https://www.huit.harvard.edu/harvard-sponsored-role-portal) via HUIT.
