#  What size should I make my images? 

 



The optimal image size depends on the context. For example, the optimal dimensions for an image used as a **Thumbnail** or on a **Vertical Card** are 960 x 540 pixels. Banner images, such as those in the **Hero** component and **News** banner, should be much larger, because banners adapt to fill the browser window width. When sizing an image for use on your site, balance file size with optimal dimensions for the context of use, bearing in mind that the platform does not allow images over 5MB.
